sanga /ˈsæŋə/

(countable noun) (informal) Usage note: This term is used by some speakers, often in the older age groups.

A sandwich, usually made from two slices of bread with butter spread on them and a filling (e.g. ham or cheese) between them.

Example: 1) Butter one side of 2 slices of any bread you like. 2) Spread a thin layer of Vegemite on top of the buttered sides of the bread. 3) Put the two pieces of bread together and enjoy your Vegemite sandwich! And that's how you make a 'Vegemite sanga' the Aussie way (http://scarletquill99.hubpages.com/hub/Different-Ways-to-eat-Vegemite)
