kiwi fruit, kiwifruit /ˈki:wi: fru:t/
(countable noun; plural: kiwi fruit) Usage note: This is the usual term used by all speakers.
An oval fruit about 7 centimetres long with hairy skin and lots of black seeds which can be eaten. Kiwi fruit are often brown, with green flesh, but they can also be yellow.
