kangaroo /kæŋgəˈru:/

An Australian marsupial between 1 metre and 2 metres in height. Kangaroos have long tails and small front paws, but powerful back legs, which they use to move themselves by jumping. Kangaroos are vegetarian and live in country areas. They eat grass and plants.
