heaps /hi:ps/  

(plural countable noun sometimes used as an adverb) (informal) Usage note: This term is used by many speakers.

Used instead of ‘lots’ or ‘very’. When it is used as a noun, it can be followed by ‘of’.

Example 1: Just wanted to let you know we had an awesome time on the 4WD trip you organised for us to the Hunter Valley and Blue Mountains - you promised it would be good - it was great - thanks heaps!  (http://www.aussieassist.com/testimonials.htm)
