dingo /ˈdɪŋgoʊ/  

(countable noun) Usage note: This is the usual term used by all speakers.

A type of wild dog which is dark yellow in colour and has upright ears and a thick tail. Dingoes live in the Australian outback and can be dangerous to humans.
