bludge /blʌdʒ/ 

1 (verb, countable noun) (informal) Usage note: This term is used by many speakers.

1. (verb) To be lazy and avoid responsibility, or depend on money from other people or the government.

Example: The dole is a good thing, and there are many people who would simply not survive without it. 2. (countable noun) Something relaxing.
