Ugg boots /’ʌg bu:ts/
(plural noun) Usage note: This is the usual term used by all speakers.
Short or knee-length boots made from sheepskin. The soft woolly part of the sheepskin is inside but it can be folded outside at the top. Ugg boots are usually worn in the house, but some people wear them outside the house.
Example: I brushed up against a freshly painted wall with my very new Ugg Boots and now have wall paint on the fluff of my Ugg Boots. (http://www.3aw.com.au/blogs/denis-walter-blog/julias-glamorous-spread/20100728-10vk0.html)
