Adelaide Festival /ædəleɪd 'fɛstəvəl/
(countable noun) Usage note: This is the usual term used by all speakers.
An arts festival held in Adelaide for two weeks in February/March every year, with music, dance, theatre and a Writers' Week (where famous authors discuss their work).
Example: This fifth symposium was actually incorporated into the two-week long Adelaide Festival of Arts, which itself recognised the gastronomic domain by organising a session on food writing as part of the Writers' Week program. (http://www.classic.com.au/wizard/SAG5.htm)
